Dr. Mohit Bhatt graduated from Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India and subsequently obtained MD Medicine and DM Neurology from the University of Bombay. He completed his medical training by devoting 4 years in research in movement disorders at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada with Prof. Donald B Calne and Subsequently at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases, Queen Square, London, UK with Prof. David C Marsdan. At present Dr Bhatt is Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Grant Medical College and JJ Group of Hospitals in Mumbai.
He started a lay society to help patients with Parkinson’s disease called the Parkinson’s disease Foundation of India . He has been practicing as a movement disorder consultant since 1992 in Mumbai and is known for introducing and popularizing this specialty in India.At Present Dr. Mohit Bhatt is Director of Neurosciences at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute, Mumbai, India.
