Her area of specialisation covers Cognitive and Behavioural Neurology.
She has developed a new way for the diagnosis and treatment of Wilson disease. This includes a clinical scale that can help in assessing the progress of disease and its response to treatment.
She has special acumen in treating neurological diseases due to liver failure and iron deposition in the brain.
She carried out an Epidemiological study of Parkinson’s disease among Parsees, living in Mumbai.
She predominantly deals with cases of Brain and Nervous System Disorders which can be genetic or resulted from Brain Injuries, Infection or Degeneration.
To mark her extraordinary achievements and contributions, she was awarded with Dr. Jane Page Scholarship and Hargobind Foundation Scholarship.
She has also received awards for Best Paper presentations at different conferences held within the country and abroad.
She takes keen interest in research and has published numerable papers in reputed national and international journals and has authored chapters in Neurology Text Books and Encyclopaedias.
